The School of Medicine also conducts a Summer Research Fellowship Program and a fourth year Advanced Biomedical Sciences Block in which I participate. Medical students must be highly motivated, focused and willing to learn research design and techniques. Medical students will each be assigned their own project and are expected to complete and publish their work with help from our team. They will also be exposed to a wide variety of ongoing projects in my laboratory.
