Columbia Regional Hospital has a beautiful physicians-only lounge that provides excellent hot meals for residents and faculty.
The breakfast buffet includes hot eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, French toast, etc.
The lunch buffet frequently serves half rack of Bar-B-Q baby back ribs, fried catfish, shrimp scampi, lasagna, stuffed pork chops, chicken strips, etc.

Core Textbooks |
| The Department pays for three current core textbooks (Obstetrics- Gabbe, REI-Speroff and Gyn Onc - Dasaia) - a $300-$400 bonus. |
Awards |
| At the end of each year, the Department gives generous monetary awards for best performance on the CREOG exam and best resident research. |
